What is
Playback Theatre?

Playback Theatre brings to life personal stories for you to reflect upon and enjoy

In Story-Lane Playback Theatre events, audience members share thoughts, feelings, memories and watch them being transformed into improvised theatre pieces. It can be funny or sad, enlightening and powerful, but above all fun and exciting! Playback theatre creates space for sharing, connecting, expressing and playing. This art-form was invented in 1975 by Jonathan Fox, it corresponds with psychodrama, oral traditions, storytelling, theatre and much more.

Story Lane Ensemble

Story Lane Playback Theatre Ensemble is a multi-cultural theatre company.

The Ensemble was founded in 2017 by Noa Leibu, in order to assist individuals, communities and businesses to fulfill their potential through playful and positive practices and encounters. At the heart of our work, we use personal stories and improvisation as ways to awaken new perspectives. We provide workshops, performances and training, applying key skills and mindsets from the richness of theatre and improvisation practices, in order to help you fulfill your potential. We use this interactive theatre as a vehicle for dialogue, community building, leadership development, entertainment and social change. We wish to bring respect, sensitivity and acceptance to every encounter we have with each other and with our audience.

We also perfomed for:
